PRAGUE (ÈIA) – The Czech market of modern logistic and industrial properties totalled 3.82 mln m2 as of the end of 2011. While in 2010 the total size of the new premises on the Czech market was ca. 178,600 m2, last year a total of 223,000 m2 of new industrial premises was added to the market. Roughly 95% of the new space was built on prelease basis. The head of the industrial property department with the Prague branch of Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL), Harry Bannatyne, has added that most of the new warehouses and production halls this year will be built on prelease basis.
