PRAGUE (ÈIA) – Czechs submitted a total of 44,747 tons of electrowaste in 2011 through the Asekol, Ekolamp and Elektrowin collection systems. The biggest volume of electro waste was submitted in the Vysoèina Region – 5.5 kg per capita. The 5kg limit was exceeded also in the Hradec Králové Region (5.23 kg) and Zlín Region (5.15 kg). The lowest volume was reported from the Ústí nad Labem Region (2.70 kg) and Karlovy Vary Region (3.09 kg).
