PRAGUE (ÈIA) – With 67.3%, the city of Prague has quite a large share of public transport, which ranks it to the level of Vienna, Zurich or Munich. The average transport speed in the city is 25.7 km/h. However, Prague is lagging behind other cities in respect of implementation of innovative transport technologies such as car-sharing and bike-sharing. The quality of the city’s strategy to ensure urban mobility is evaluated as very poor, according to a global study of Arthur D. Little entitled ‘Future of Urban Mobility’.
